We are Zuya Factory, a car coating specialist located in Omiya Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. Today, we'd like to introduce a case study of a Tesla Model Y (new car) that we worked on for Mr. O from Saitama City.

The car was brought to our shop on the day of delivery, and we carried out intensive work over a long period of approximately 14 days. We have installed a full protective total care plan befitting a state-of-the-art EV, covering the exterior, interior, windows, and even protective film.

1. "Paint Protection Film (PPF)" to firmly protect the vehicle body from high-speed stone chips

. Tesla's unique grille-less, smooth front mask is very susceptible to stone chip damage while driving. Therefore, we applied the world's best "Gloss Protection Film" from XPEL, a US company, to the front area.

• Application areas: Hood, front bumper, left and right front fenders

• Additional protection: Door edge guard film x 4, stone guard film x 2

It has a self-healing function for scratches, and each piece is beautifully installed using precise pro-cut data that makes the edges of the film almost invisible.

2. Body: GYEON Synchro Ceramic Coating

Protection Film The body (doors, rear area) other than the application areas was treated with "GYEON Synchro," a powerful two-layer premium ceramic coating. By applying the film after precise surface preparation to prepare the paintwork for a brand-new car, it brings a deep, captivating gloss to the Model Y's refined form, along with outstanding water-repellent and stain-resistant properties.

3. "Heat-shielding car film application" that combines overwhelming openness and comfort

A common concern for owners of the Model Y, which is entirely covered in large glass panels, is that heat tends to build up inside the car. This time, we applied two types of heat-shielding film, tailored to the characteristics of the glass.

• Transparent heat-shielding film (heat shielding rate 85%): Applied to four surfaces: windshield, driver's side, passenger side, and panoramic roof. While maintaining Tesla's signature open view, it dramatically cuts out the scorching, unpleasant infrared and ultraviolet rays.

• Smoked heat-shielding film: Originally, the rear seats and quarter windows were clear glass, but we selected a 33% light transmission rate , and the hatchback glass has a 22% light transmission rate. This ensures a good level of privacy while maximizing the effectiveness of the air conditioning.

4. Interior: White Leather Coating (Full)

The most eye-catching feature of Tesla's interior is the beautiful white leather seats. These are parts that can be a concern due to dirt and color transfer from jeans, but we applied a thorough interior leather coating from the entire seat surface to the trim. Without compromising the supple texture inherent in leather, we have created a stain-resistant barrier that makes it difficult for dirt to adhere and easy to clean.
